Overview
Artificial intelligence tools are constantly advancing and becoming more powerful. As the time comes to prepare for another school year, it’s critical to plan your approach to AI and think about its implications for education – in the classroom and across the system.
This 2-day bootcamp is designed to facilitate these critical conversations!
- On day one we’ll dive into the big picture of AI in education by discussing the major industry updates that schools need to prepare for, how education at large must adapt in order to prepare students for a world with AI, key risks and ethical concerns, and decision-making strategies for responsible AI use in schools.
- On day two we’ll get into what AI use in schools can and should look like – with lots of practical examples and workshop time. We’ll cover AI uses for teachers, tackling AI misuse in the classroom, responsible and productive student use, and AI-powered activities that build digital literacy skills.
Participants can enroll in either day separately or join for the whole boot camp!
